I don’t know you aside from being relatively new to your TikToks. I’m drawn to you and I’ve been trying to figure out why. Over the last few days, I’ve found myself watching your videos and fighting the desire to provide mothering and reassurance. After reading this little bit from you, I can 1000% see that you remind me of myself in great detail. There are subtle differences but the more I learn about what has made you you, the more it resonates with what made me me. The thing is that I’ll turn 52 on Friday, the 16th and I recognize in myself the desire to help pretty much anyone who is interested in their healing journey so they figure it out earlier than I have.
Don’t get me wrong. I am still on my own journey and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come but I’m also filled with the desire to help people learn whatever they need to to prevent the hard or horrible things from continuing until later in life. The sooner you figure your stuff out, the sooner you get to the path of healthy, love, filled life.
My life isn’t perfect, but I don’t believe in perfection. I love my life the way it is now. I love learning and growing and I plan on doing that until I’m not around anymore.
I’m super careful about para social relationships. It takes time, commitment, and true openness to become friends. I’m a lot pickier on who I take chances on. I should’ve been pickier a lot earlier. Anyway, who knows if we’ll become friends or if I’m just a casual fan. Time will tell. I do have a tremendous amount of respect for you and what you’ve gone through and what you’ve done with it the path to your healing journey is not an easy one and it is not for the weak of heart or mind. I feel like I have a lot to offer you in regard to my story as well as my musical choices and how they fit into my story. I look forward to hearing more about yours and sharing mine with you if you’re interested. In the meantime, keep breathing and just keep being you because you are a gift of this world. I’m Jamie. You get to where you were in a day, you won't get to where you THINK you want to be in a day either. The fucked part is on the way when you realize you need to change destinations. Excellent read enjoyed thst finish, can't wait for more earworms
but really, this is incredible. it’s funny how you go through life thinking you are the only one to have these thoughts or be in situations like it - and then the universe leads you to someone whose energy sparks emotion in you… only to then discover how similar of experiences we share. thankful for your words, your vulnerability and your release!
